Let’s continue the topic of a healthy smile.
In our previous BLOG ARTICLE, we were discussing the invisible method of bite treatment – Invisalign.
But what else Tribeca Dental Studio can suggest you to make your smile perfect?
Tribeca Dental Studio is the 1st in Manhattan to offer Brius® a new braces product that goes behind the wearer’s teeth.
BRIUS is a revolutionary method that moves teeth independently and can be used instead of braces or aligners. This method considerably shortens treatment time!
BRIUS Braces placed behind the teeth so they cannot be seen are more comfortable than any other behind-the-teeth braces.
There are few reasons to choose BRIUS instead of more traditional brace systems.
These appliances STAY BONDED TO YOUR TEETH and never stop working to improve your smile, unlike plastic clear aligners which need to be removed when eating or drinking.
THEY ARE AUTONOMOUS and custom- made to deliver your dream smile designed by our orthodontist.
They are behind the teeth so THEY ARE INVISIBLE and cannot be seen! No one will be able to tell that you are getting your teeth aligned, as opposed to the unsightly attachments typically used with aligners.
This method moves all the teeth simultaneously and independent of each other, which is much more EFFICIENT than traditional braces or clear aligners.
The BRIUS® applies a very LIGHT FORCE to the teeth, meaning that treatment is painless!
No wires connect the teeth with this technique, unlike traditional braces, which makes it EASY TO CLEAN.
In most cases, only one BRIUS® will be needed for the entire treatment. This means FEWER VISITS – there is no need for adjustments!
How does it work and what is the treatment process?
BRIUS has two main components: a rigid bar and flexible arms. The arms are chosen via a complex Finite Element Analysis (FEA), to apply the ideal force/torque to each tooth.
Interbracket distance no longer an issue.
One BRIUS® completes mild to moderate cases. It uses a new non-sliding orthodontic technique that moves each tooth independently. Flexible NiTi arms connect each tooth to a rigid bar that stabilizes the appliance on the hard palate or lingual vestibule. The thickness and design of each individual arm are customized to produce the optimal force and moment needed for that particular tooth. The appliances can be further customized by incorporating TADs or Nance.
