Dr. Sam Morhaim is a periodontal surgeon with nearly 30 years experience, whose primary focus and expertise is performing advanced implant surgical procedures to help his patients return to normal function. He achieves this goal by associating himself with an assembled team of specialists who share a like-minded passion in dentistry.
He earned his undergraduate dental degree from Stony Brook School Of Dental Medicine where he received numerous honors and awards, including The Academy of Dentistry for the Disabled Award, The American Association of Endodontics Award, as well as The American Society of Anesthesiology Award.
Upon graduating dental school at Stony Brook, his passion to help recent graduates continued when he was elected board member of The Student Alumni Association. He was also pronounced Chairman of the Student Mentorship Program, helping prospective dentists reach their professional goals.
Dr. Morhaim then accepted a one-year residency program in general dentistry at The Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, which led to his choice to become a Periodontist in NYC. He completed his specialty training at Boston University where he graduated with honors.
He was the only student in the history of Boston University who attained Fellowship status by The International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Recently, he was awarded the title of Diplomate of the same professional organization, which is an accolade only achieved by 4% of all members in over 80 countries.
After graduation, Dr. Morhaim became a principal owner in a multi-specialty dental practice while serving as Chairman of Implant Dentistry at Flushing Hospital Medical Center in New York.
There is another side to Dr. Morhaim ́s life, which is his strong commitment to his family and culture.
